Continuing Education Software
Assign credit to sessions, collect the evaluations accreditors require, issue certificates, keep a lifetime transcript for every learner, and report earned credit to your accrediting body — in the same platform that runs your registration and program.
Continuing education software handles the steps that turn attendance into credit: assigning credit values to sessions, collecting the evaluations most accreditors require, letting attendees claim what they earned, issuing certificates, and reporting earned credit to the accrediting body.
Run separately from registration, this becomes a stack of spreadsheets — one for who attended, one for who filled out the evaluation, one to calculate credit, and a mail merge for certificates. CompleteEvent reads real attendance and evaluation data, so the credit each learner claims is grounded in what actually happened at your event.
Declare the credit types your organization is accredited to issue, cap the credit an event can award, and assign credit to individual sessions. The engine tallies what each learner is eligible for.
Attendees complete a per-session evaluation before claiming credit — the confirmation of participation most accreditors require. Results also feed your analytics and speaker feedback.
A certificate template you control: title, credit statement, body text, and a signatory name and signature image. Learners download their certificate once they have claimed their credit.
Every credit an attendee claims is added to a lifetime transcript that spans every event they have attended on CompleteEvent — no per-event PDFs to keep track of.
Opt-in per event: speakers, planners, and reviewers declare financial relationships through a private link. Track mitigation, log commercial support, and show disclosures to learners.
For AMA PRA Category 1 Credit, validate learner NPI numbers, correct records in a repair queue, and export the PARS learner-credit file in the format the AMA expects.
Award CE credit at annual meetings and chapter events, keep a running transcript for members, and hand certificates to attendees the day they qualify — without a separate learning-management system.
Issue AMA PRA Category 1 Credit with the disclosure workflow, commercial-support ledger, and PARS reporting that accreditation requires. Disclosures and reporting turn on per event when credit calls for them.
Run symposia and professional-development events that award CE or CEU credit, collect evaluations, and issue certificates alongside abstract review and session scheduling.
Set your accreditation profile
In organization settings, declare the credit types you are accredited to issue. This governs what credit you can assign to events and sessions, so you never award credit you are not approved for.
Assign credit to your program
Cap the credit an event can award, then assign credit to each session. Turn on disclosures if your accreditation requires them, and collect declarations from speakers, planners, and reviewers.
Learners attend and claim credit
Attendees complete each session's evaluation, then claim the credit they earned and download their certificate. The credit lands on their lifetime transcript automatically.
Report to your accreditor
Review the credit roster, validate NPI numbers, clear the repair queue, and export the PARS file for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit — with a program-book PDF and audit ZIP for your accreditation file.
Continuing education software handles the steps that turn attendance into credit: assigning credit values to sessions, collecting the evaluations most accreditors require, letting attendees claim the credit they earned, issuing certificates, and reporting earned credit to the accrediting body. CompleteEvent runs those steps in the same platform as your registration, sessions, and check-in — so the credit engine reads real attendance and evaluation data instead of a spreadsheet you rebuild by hand.
Yes. Each event has a certificate template you control — title, introductory line, the credit statement, body text, and a signatory name and signature image. Attendees who complete the required evaluation claim their credit and download a certificate of attendance from their registration. Certificates are available on all paid plans.
After a session, attendees complete its evaluation. Once the evaluation requirements for the credit are met, the attendee claims the credit from the event's certificate page and downloads their certificate. Claimed credit is added to the attendee's lifetime learner transcript, which they can view across every event they have attended on CompleteEvent.
Yes, for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. When an event issues physician credit, an Accreditor Reporting page appears in the dashboard. It validates learner NPI numbers, holds records that need correction in a repair queue, and produces the PARS learner-credit file in the format the AMA expects. PARS reporting is AMA-only today; other accreditor integrations are on the roadmap.
Disclosures are opt-in per event. When enabled, speakers, planners, and reviewers each receive a private link to declare financial relationships. You track mitigation for any identified conflict, record commercial support in a ledger, and show the resulting disclosures to learners. A program-book PDF and an audit-export ZIP are generated for your accreditation file.
Evaluations are the per-session feedback attendees submit — the same evaluation and survey tools used for post-event feedback. For continuing education, completing the evaluation is the gate to claiming credit, which is how most accreditors require you to confirm participation before awarding credit.
Certificates and the credit engine are available on all paid plans (Starter and up). The CPE/credit export and abstract review tools used by larger academic programs are on Pro. Disclosures and accreditor reporting are opt-in per event and turn on only when your event issues credit that requires them.
