Yes. The Free plan includes Stripe payment processing at a 3% platform fee. As you grow, Starter (1%) and Pro (0.5%) reduce that fee significantly.

The platform fee applies to all Stripe charges processed through the platform — ticket sales, donation add-ons, raffle ticket purchases, sponsorship package payments, and event shop orders. Free events and $0 transactions have no platform fee on any plan.
The app is free to install from the Stripe App Marketplace. On every plan, it shows each Stripe customer's event registrations, attendance, and ticket spending, and lets you create or link your CompleteEvent organization from Stripe. Member and donor import, members-only ticket tiers, and the event revenue page in your Stripe Dashboard need the Growth plan or higher.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade through the billing dashboard. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted.
SMS notifications are a Pro feature and require a Twilio account — you bring your own. CompleteEvent does not add a markup; you pay Twilio directly at their standard rates. Costs vary by country: roughly $0.008/message in the US and Canada, $0.04 in the UK, and $0.07–$0.10 in most of Europe. SMS is available in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and most of Latin America. Coverage is limited in parts of Asia and Africa.
