Which tier fits your conference. Starter caps each event at 200 attendees and Growth at 500 — both include sessions, speaker portal, and full analytics. If your annual meeting, gala, or conference draws more than 500, Pro removes the cap and adds the website builder, call for abstracts, and the AI planner, while cutting the platform fee to 0.5%.
Your own Stripe account — free to set up
From your org settings, CompleteEvent creates a Stripe Express account in your organization's name at no extra cost. It is separate from any Stripe account you already have. Ticket revenue flows directly into it — CompleteEvent never holds your money. The platform fee for your plan (0.5%–3%) and Stripe's processing fee are deducted at the moment of sale. Bank payouts follow your own Stripe payout schedule. New organizations have a 14-day payout delay for their first 90 days.

Yes. The Free plan includes Stripe payment processing at a 3% platform fee. As you grow, Starter (1%), Growth (0.75%), and Pro (0.5%) reduce that fee.
Yes — and it's free to connect. Go to Org Settings → Payments and link your Stripe account. Once connected, ticket revenue lands in your Stripe balance at the moment of sale. CompleteEvent deducts the plan platform fee (0.5%–3%) and Stripe's processing fee; the rest is yours. Bank payouts follow your Stripe payout schedule. For new organizations, payouts are delayed 14 days until the account is 90 days old with no open or lost disputes.
The platform fee applies to all Stripe charges processed through the platform — ticket sales, donation add-ons, raffle ticket purchases, sponsorship package payments, and event shop orders. Free events and $0 transactions have no platform fee on any plan.
Yes, the app is free to install from the Stripe App Marketplace. On every plan, it shows each Stripe customer's event registrations, attendance, and ticket spending, and lets you create or link your CompleteEvent organization from Stripe. Member and donor import, members-only ticket tiers, and the event revenue page in your Stripe Dashboard need the Growth plan or higher.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade through the billing dashboard. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted.
SMS notifications are included on Pro and Enterprise at no extra charge. CompleteEvent sends them through its own Twilio account, so you don't need a Twilio account. Scheduled messages reach each attendee at most 3 times a day by SMS, and attendees who reply STOP are not texted again. SMS is available in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and most of Latin America. Coverage is limited in parts of Asia and Africa.
Annual billing saves 2 months (roughly 16%). Nonprofits and educational organizations get 20% off all paid plans. The discount is applied at checkout after you self-certify on the billing page — we verify your status after the fact. No waiting period, no paperwork required upfront.
