Org Public Page and Brand Settings
Build your org homepage with a Puck drag-and-drop editor (Pro) or section builder (Free/Starter). Set a brand accent color and tagline that cascade automatically to all your event pages.
Overview
Your org public page is the landing page at completeevent.app/your-org-slug. It lists your upcoming events and can show a full branded presence — mission, team, gallery, social links, and more — without writing code.
There are two ways to build your org page depending on your plan:
- Pro plan: a full Puck drag-and-drop editor with autosave, draft/publish separation, undo/redo, and mobile/tablet/desktop preview.
- Free and Starter plans: a form-based section builder where you add and configure sections from a dropdown.
Go to Org Settings → Public Page to configure your brand settings and access the page builder or editor.
Enabling and Disabling the Page
At the top of Org Settings → Public Page, there is a Page enabled toggle. When disabled, your org's public page is not accessible to the public — visitors who navigate to your org URL see a 404. Your events are unaffected and remain publicly accessible at their own URLs.
Enable the page when it is ready to share. Disable it if you need to take it down temporarily while rebuilding it.
Brand & Identity Settings
These settings are set once and cascade automatically to all your event pages. They live at the top of the Public Page tab.
- Accent color — a hex color that overrides the default brand color on your org page and all your event pages. Use the color picker or type a hex value directly. Good for matching your brand palette.
- Tagline — a short line (up to 100 characters) shown below your org name. Use it to describe who you are in one sentence.
- Social links — Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. These appear as icon links in your org page header and in any event page that has an “About the organizer” section.
Click Save brand settings to apply. Changes take effect on your public page immediately.
Pro Plan: Puck Editor
On the Pro plan, the org public page is built using the same Puck drag-and-drop editor used for the event website builder. Click Open Page Editor in Org Settings to enter the editor.
Editor controls
- Left sidebar — the block library. Click any block to add it, or drag it to a specific position on the canvas.
- Canvas — a live preview of your org page. Click any block to select it and edit its settings in the right panel.
- Undo / Redo (↩ ↪) — undo or redo changes within the current editing session.
- Viewport switcher — preview how the page renders on mobile, tablet, or desktop without leaving the editor.
- Autosave — the editor saves your draft automatically every few seconds. You can also click Save draft manually.
Draft and Publish
- Draft — your working copy. Not visible to the public.
- Published — the live version anyone visiting your org URL will see. Click Publish to push the current draft live.
Available blocks
- Hero — full-width banner with headline, subheadline, and optional background image.
- Rich Text — free text supporting Markdown. Use for your mission statement, “about us” copy, or any narrative content.
- Image + Text — image on one side, text on the other.
- Image Gallery — a responsive photo grid. Good for past event photos, your team, or your venue.
- Video Embed — paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL.
- Stats Row — labeled impact numbers (e.g., “12 events”, “1,400 alumni”).
- Team — member cards with name, role, and optional photo.
- Testimonials — 2–4 quote cards with name and optional role.
- Upcoming Events — auto-populates with your org's published upcoming events. No manual data entry — the list updates as you publish new events.
- CTA Banner — a call-to-action banner with headline and button.
- Divider — horizontal separator for spacing.
- Custom HTML — embed third-party widgets or write custom HTML.
When you first open the editor on an existing org page, CompleteEvent automatically migrates your existing sections (mission, gallery, video, team, etc.) into the corresponding Puck blocks. You can then rearrange and edit them freely.
Free and Starter Plans: Section Builder
On Free and Starter plans, the org page is built using the section builder — a list of content sections you can add, reorder, and toggle on or off.
On desktop, the builder shows a live preview of your org page on the right so you can see how changes look after each save.
Available section types
- Mission — a text block for your org's mission statement or “about us” copy.
- Photo gallery — upload up to 12 images in a responsive grid.
- Video embed — paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL.
- Team — member cards with name, role, and optional photo.
- Testimonials — 2–4 quote cards with name and optional role.
- Stats — impact numbers you define.
- Social links — icon row pulled from your brand settings.
- Custom HTML — any HTML for third-party embeds or advanced layouts.
Adding and managing sections
- Scroll to the Page sections area under your brand settings.
- Select a section type from the dropdown, fill in the required fields, and click Add section.
- Toggle any section on or off without deleting it — useful for hiding a section while you're still filling it in.
- Drag the handle on the left of any section to reorder it.
- Delete a section to remove it permanently.
Cascading to Event Pages
Your accent color and social links flow through to event pages automatically. You don't need to configure them per event.
Event pages can also show an About the organizer section that pulls your tagline, mission, and social links directly from your org settings. To add it to an event page, go to Program → Page Builder for that event and add an “About the organizer” section. The content comes from your org settings — nothing to fill in separately.
Tips
- Disable the page before making major structural changes so attendees don't see the page in an incomplete state. Re-enable once you've published a clean version.
- The Upcoming Events block (Pro) updates automatically — you never need to edit the org page when you publish a new event.
- If you change your accent color, the new color takes effect on all event pages immediately — no need to republish individual events.
- The social links section only renders icons for links you've filled in under brand settings. Empty fields are automatically hidden.
- The page builder is available on all plans at no extra cost. The Puck editor is a Pro feature — Free and Starter plans use the section builder.
