Tarification en plusieurs devises
Fixez les prix des billets en USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF ou SEK. La devise est automatiquement transmise à Stripe Checkout.
Overview
CompleteEvent supports ticket pricing in 8 currencies: US Dollar, Canadian Dollar, British Pound, Euro, Australian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar, Swiss Franc, and Swedish Krona. The selected currency flows through to Stripe Checkout automatically — attendees pay and receive receipts in the correct currency.
Setting a Currency
Currency is set per event at creation time:
- When creating a new event, find the Currency dropdown in the event details form.
- Select the currency your attendees will pay in. This should match the country where your Stripe account is based, or the currency your audience expects.
- Save the event. All ticket tiers for this event will use the selected currency.
The default currency is USD. If most of your events are in another currency, you can change the currency on any draft event before it has paid registrations.
Supported Currencies
| Code | Currency | Symbol |
|---|---|---|
| USD | US Dollar | $ |
| CAD | Canadian Dollar | CA$ |
| GBP | British Pound | £ |
| EUR | Euro | € |
| AUD | Australian Dollar | A$ |
| NZD | New Zealand Dollar | NZ$ |
| CHF | Swiss Franc | CHF |
| SEK | Swedish Krona | kr |
How Currency Affects Stripe
When an attendee pays, the Stripe Checkout session is created with the event's currency code. Stripe processes the payment in that currency and deposits the funds (minus Stripe's processing fee and the CompleteEvent platform fee) into your connected Stripe account.
Your Stripe account must support the currency you're charging in. Most Stripe accounts in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe support multiple currencies by default. If Stripe rejects a charge due to currency mismatch, check your Stripe account's currency settings in the Stripe dashboard.
Changing Currency After Registration Has Started
Changing an event's currency after paid registrations exist is not allowed — it would create inconsistent records between old and new registrations. If you need to change currency on a live event, contact support.
Revenue Dashboard and Reporting
The revenue dashboard displays amounts in the event's currency. If you run events in multiple currencies, each event's revenue is reported in its own currency — there is no automatic cross-currency conversion in reports.
