Tailles et guide d'importation des images

Les dimensions idéales pour chaque image — couverture d'événement, logo, photos des intervenants, plan de salle et plus. Tableau récapitulatif et outils de redimensionnement gratuits.

Quick Reference

Every image you upload to CompleteEvent has an ideal size. Using the right dimensions prevents cropping, blurry previews, and slow load times for your attendees.

Event Cover Image

The cover image appears at the top of your public registration page and as the preview image when attendees share your event link on social media (Open Graph image).

  • Recommended size: 1200 × 630 px (standard 1.91:1 ratio used by LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter/X previews).
  • Keep important content centered. On smaller screens the image is cropped from the sides — logos, text, and faces placed near the center stay visible.
  • Upload from Event Settings → Cover Image.

Organization Logo

Your logo appears in the dashboard sidebar, in confirmation emails (when “Show org logo” is enabled), and on your public organization page.

  • Recommended size: 400 × 400 px or larger (square). It is displayed at smaller sizes but uploading a higher-resolution version keeps it sharp on retina screens.
  • Best format: PNG with a transparent background, so the logo sits cleanly on any background color. SVG is also supported and scales without quality loss.
  • Upload from Org Settings → Branding.

Organization Page Header

The header image appears across the top of your public organization page — the page that lists all your events at completeevent.app/your-org.

  • Recommended size: 1200 × 300 px (4:1 ratio). The image is displayed at 600px wide, so uploading at 2× ensures it looks sharp on retina screens.
  • Upload from Org Settings → Public Page.

Email Header Image

The email header image appears at the top of confirmation and reminder emails sent to your attendees.

  • Recommended size: 1200 × 400 px (3:1 ratio). Emails render the image at 600px wide — uploading at 2× keeps it sharp in email clients that support retina displays.
  • How to add it: The email header accepts a URL, not a file upload. Host the image on any publicly accessible service (Cloudinary, your own CDN, Canva’s image hosting, etc.) and paste the direct image URL into the field.
  • Configure under Event Settings → Email Settings.

Speaker and Presenter Headshots

Headshots appear on speaker cards in the event guide, the public page builder speakers section, and in submitted abstracts.

  • Recommended size: at least 400 × 400 px, square. The image is always cropped to a square or circle — rectangular photos will be center-cropped.
  • Organizers can upload headshots directly in the presenter manager (Event → Sessions → [session] → Manage Presenters). Speakers can also upload their own headshot via the Speaker Portal.

Auction Item and Shop Item Photos

Product photos appear on the auction bidding page and the event shop.

  • Auction items: 800 × 600 px or similar landscape format. The image is displayed in a card with a fixed-height crop.
  • Shop items: 800 × 800 px (square). Items are shown in a grid with a square crop — non-square images will be center-cropped.
  • Upload from Event → Fundraising → Auction or Event → Fundraising → Shop when adding or editing an item.

Floor Plan

The floor plan is an image of your venue that attendees can view and zoom in the mobile event guide. See the Floor Plan help article for full details.

  • Minimum width: 1200 px. Attendees can pinch to zoom — a higher resolution keeps text and labels legible at full zoom.
  • Supported formats: PNG and JPEG.
  • Upload from Event → Floor Plan.

Resizing Images Before Upload

You do not need design software to resize an image. These free tools cover most cases:

  • Canva — create a design at the exact pixel dimensions you need (e.g., 1200 × 630), then export as PNG or JPEG. Canva also has pre-made templates for social media sizes that match the event cover image format.
  • Squoosh (squoosh.app) — drag and drop any image to resize and compress it in your browser with no account required. Useful for reducing file size without losing quality.
  • macOS Preview — open the image, go to Tools → Adjust Size, enter the pixel dimensions, and save.
