Digital Services Act — Transparency Statement

Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 · Last updated: March 4, 2026

This statement is published by CompleteEvent in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (“DSA”), which became fully applicable on 17 February 2024. It applies to the CompleteEvent web platform and iOS application distributed in the European Union.

1. Service Description

CompleteEvent is a business-to-business (B2B) event management platform. It enables organisations (“organisers”) to create and manage events, sell tickets, publish session schedules, and communicate with registered attendees. Attendees use the platform to register for events, browse session content, and access event resources.

2. Advertising

CompleteEvent does not display third-party advertising of any kind to users. No advertising network, ad exchange, or programmatic advertising system is integrated into the platform. No user data is sold or shared with advertising partners.

Organisers may display their own sponsors on their event pages. This is editorial content chosen and controlled entirely by the organiser; it is not targeted advertising and does not involve any profiling of attendees.

3. Recommender Systems

CompleteEvent does not use algorithmic recommender systems to surface, rank, or promote content to users. Session schedules and event listings are presented in chronological or organiser-defined order. No behavioural profiling is used to personalise content feeds.

4. User-Generated Content

The platform does not host a public user-generated content feed. Event-scoped message feeds (where enabled by an organiser) are visible only to registered attendees of that event and are moderated by the organiser. Abstract submissions are visible only to the submitting attendee and the event's organising team.

5. Content Moderation

CompleteEvent provides organisers with tools to moderate content within their own events (e.g. removing feed posts, managing abstract submissions). CompleteEvent reserves the right to suspend accounts or remove content that violates our Terms of Service.
