Call for Abstracts

Share Your Research

We invite researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit abstracts for the Global Climate Research Symposium 2026. All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by our international scientific committee.

Abstract submission deadline: June 30, 2026

Thematic Tracks

Select the track that best aligns with your submission. Abstracts may be assigned to a different track at the committee's discretion.

Atmospheric & Ocean Science

Climate modeling, CMIP6 ensembles, ocean circulation, extreme weather attribution, and paleoclimate reconstruction.

Mitigation & Policy

Carbon pricing, NDC implementation, international climate finance, energy transition, and just transition frameworks.

Adaptation & Resilience

Coastal management, heat action plans, food system resilience, water security, and climate migration.

Social Science & Justice

Climate equity, environmental justice, community-based adaptation, indigenous knowledge, and social vulnerability.

Presentation Formats

Indicate your preferred format when submitting. The committee will confirm format assignments in acceptance notifications.

Oral Presentation

15-minute talk + 5-minute Q&A in a plenary or parallel session.

Poster Presentation

Interactive poster in dedicated poster sessions with lightning intro.

Panel Proposal

Propose a 60-minute moderated panel (3–5 speakers) on a focused topic.

Workshop

90-minute hands-on or interactive session with structured activities.

All submissions must be in English. Abstracts should be 300–500 words excluding title and author information. Supporting figures or tables may be included.
