SMS Notifications — Terms & Opt-In Consent

Program Description

CompleteEvent sends SMS notifications to event attendees who provide their mobile phone number during registration. Messages include:

  • Event reminders (3 days before, 1 day before, and morning of the event)
  • Registration confirmations
  • Event updates and announcements from the event organizer
  • Check-in and logistics information

How You Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS notifications by providing your mobile phone number on the event registration form and checking the box to receive text message updates. Consent is not a condition of registration or purchase.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by event. You may receive up to 5 messages per event you are registered for. Event organizers may send additional messages for event updates or announcements.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You can also remove your phone number from your registration at any time by visiting your registration management page.

Supported Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and most major US carriers. Carrier availability may vary.

Privacy

Your mobile number is used only to send notifications related to events you have registered for. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
